How does “search area” work on a state's homepagepage, within Buyblitz.com?
The search area is the distance surrounding the “suburb” name that you have selected. For example, a "search area" of within 5 miles, will display results within a 5 mile radius circling the particular suburb you selected.
 

Once I have registered what happens? 
When you have registered, you will have authorised your Email Address and Password. When you log in using your Email Address and Password (top right hand side of the home page), you will be fully active within both The SOC Exchange and the Buyblitz websites.
   

If I am not registered can I still move around both websites?
Yes absolutely! You can fully navigate both websites, however you cannot access useful features such as email alerts and e-commerce facilities, and other benefits offered by sellers and retailers.
    

Is my personal information secure?
Yes. Your personal information is encrypted to protect it from access by unauthorized persons.
We have confidence in our state of the art encryption methods.

Is my credit card information secure? (Sellers & Businesses)
Yes. All credit card information given by you to us is processed through PayPal,
the global leader in online payments.

Is my credit card information secure? (Customers of Buyblitz Businesses)
Yes. When you place an order with any particular business within the Buyblitz Mega-Mall, that chosen business is the only entity that will have access to your credit card details. At the time of placing the order, that chosen business will be sent an e-mail informing them that an order has been placed. That chosen business will then have to log-in to its website (using its password) in order to obtain your order and credit card details and finalize the transaction. Buyblitz will not access your credit card details.

When I select e-mail alerts from a seller, business or reataurant, do they know my identity?
No. They will know the total number of e-mail subscribers they have, but they will not know their e-mail addresses or identity.
 

When I “book on-line” with a restaurant, does the restaurant know my identity?
Yes. The restaurant needs to know your contact details, in order to confirm your reservation.

What if I have a problem with a seller or  business I have ordered from, or a buyer / customer who has ordered from me?
The SOC Exchange and Buyblitz.com facilitates transactions between sellers / retailers and customers, but we are not involved in the actual transactions. You must attempt to resolve any dispute with the relevant seller / retailer or customer yourself and, if necessary, seek assistance from relevant authorities or professional advisers. Please do let us know if you remain dissatisfied after attempting to resolve a dispute, as we are keen to ensure all users comply with the Terms of Use.
